My 15-Week Fruit Basket

Nearly every pregnant woman I know receives weekly emails on what exactly is going on inside the womb. It provides useful things about what is developing in the baby's body and how much the baby weighs. By far, the most fun information provided is what size the baby is in relation to a piece of fruit. This week (week 15), our baby is the size of an apple. Last week, Baby Franck was a lemon.

Other neat things about week 15:
- I'm finally not tired anymore. Gone are the days of 2 hour naps and getting nothing done during the day;
- The baby can squint, frown, grimace, pee, and possible suck his/her thumb;
- The baby can grasp objects;
- The baby's eyes are fused shut but he/she can sense light. Apparently, if I shine a flash light at my tummy the baby will move away from the light.

Our next ultrasound is a week from today... we might even know the gender in 2 weeks!!
