Boy or Girl

People keep asking if we think we're having a boy or a girl.  We don't know and we don't care- we just want a baby!!  We are definitely one of the "find-out-as-soon-as-possible" couples.  We don't need the big reveal after delivery.  We'll get a preliminary look around 17 weeks and then have it confirmed at 20 weeks (assuming the baby "cooperates" for these ultrasounds, which is not looking good.  The baby has refused to even wake up for 2 our of our last 3 ultrasounds).

  

For those of you who don't know, it's the dad's genetics that decide the gender of the baby (you can read about it here).  Matt's one of 4 boys, and his oldest brother has a 9 month old boy, so the smart money says I'm birthing a boy.  And to be honest, the story of the "Franck Boys" is so legendary, I can't imagine adding a girl to the mix... But my parents and friends all think we're having a girl... only time will tell!  As we wait, feel free to vote on the side of our blog.
