Big Sisters

People keep asking us how Hula and Gerdy are handling their new roles as big sisters to Levi. Well... that's a good question. By now they've realized that:

1. There is something else in the house;
2. That this something else is alive; and
3. That this something else gets treated better than them. Sad but true.

Gerdy in the tent... one of the last safe hide-outs for the girls

Soooo... it's not a stretch to say that they aren't quite as thrilled as we are with Levi. They spend a lot of time cooped up in the kitchen and the back yard instead of on the sofa with mom. That being said, every time we sit on the floor and have the dogs come up to our sweet boy, they are super excited to check him out giving him lots of kisses. And when they are in the same vacinity of their little brother they are all eyes and ears to try and figure him out.

Their attempt to catch a better view of Mr. Man as he dozes off in his sweet peace.

Once Levi isn't as fragile, we'll have them around much more; and once he's interactive they'll love him; and once he's throwing his food on the floor they'll think he's the best thing that ever happened to our family. Until then... they will be the jealous big sisters.

Hula... totally playing the "poor me" card from behind the kitchen gate. Have you ever seen such a sad face?? She's just wee bit dramatic...
