Kennebunkport

At the end of July, we packed up the car and drove North to Kennebunkport, Maine!! Kennebunkport is on the Southern end of coastal Maine and is really cute and full of people in the summer. The weather was so-so (the whole East Coast has had a crummy summer...) but it was still beautiful and relaxing. We also brought the puppies!!

Kennebunkport is known for being the summer home President George Bush, Sr. We took this picture from our porch- the Secret Service docked right behind our hotel.



We also brought our bikes! Here is Amy with her new cruiser (yes, it has a basket and a bell :) We had just arrived back to hotel when it started to rain, but the ride was beautiful and flat for the most part!




Here are the puppies on our porch! Gerdy walked on a leash for the first time on our trip. "Walked" is actually a loose term; she is terrified of curbs, people, grass, and puddles, and refuses to move when she sees them.

It looks like Matt has a new friend! Gerdy decided to cuddle up while Matt took a nice, afternoon nap.
